The story
In the summer of 2006, occurred the first desperate Hungarian thought to give birth to an innovation for a new direction of wakeboarding. There have been vast amount of videos on video sharing sites which had given the pace to the Hungarian development. A domestic snowboard and wakeboard rider, Gábor Nagy, who is a professional engineer by the way, started to develop a new type of winch. Besides of the information of the internet there was no other base than the boarding knowledge and the requirements. He had tried to approach the question from a totally different angle. He had found the first basis thoughts in go-kart technology. In the first time he was co working with a rural go-kart team with their help he had created the first pieces of model SKATER. Many off-water and more pool and open-air water tests had proved the viability of this type. On 2007, many of his winches had showed their advantages all over Europe. By the end of the season, a custom built, reliable fair copy of winch had born with a possibility of mass production. They had proved their success of mobile wakeboarding at several Hungarian and foreign competition and occasions. For the sake of further developments, in the winter of 2007, he had drawn into the development of a worldwide unique machine Gábor Sziráki, a machine designing engineer, who had already had great experience in machine production. From the footsteps of their mutual work, a new, greater performing winch had born. This was the INVERTER, which had totally new clutch and break system. This machine gave possibility to do jumps and tricks, similar to the ones made in cable systems. It is capable to properly start beginners and its automatic breaking system increase security of unprofessional. Both machines are available versions of the orderable custom built winches.
